Our focus is to assist the rural economy and manage the landscape, protecting our environment in the process
— Andrew Ferguson, Farm Manager

Since 1953, Dummer Down Farm has been a family home to the Ferguson family. Over the years it has developed from a dairy and arable farm to a business involving many aspects of rural life.

WE ADAPTED

With a friendly and laid back atmosphere, the farm hosts a variety of businesses. The Grain Drier is now used by a theatre set designer. Where we used to house the bull, there is an embroidery and printing company. Cricket bats are now produced in the calf rearing shed and The Dairy is now The Dummer Cricket Centre with some of the best coaches in Hampshire and a 20,000 footfall per year.

WHAT WE DO NOW

We are still a working farm and sit within the beautiful Hampshire countryside. A quiet and inclusive area we offer a variety of spaces available for hire for events and filming all year round. Very close to Basingstoke near the M3 and A303 the site is a conveniently located hidden gem.

A provider of reliable and professional business units, Dummer Down Farm has been renting units since 1995.

The latest addition is a popular coffee shop located in the old machinery store, catering for local businesses and doing a good trade with the cyclists as we find ourselves on a busy cycle highway.

Dummer Down was the perfect spot for our new festival. Easy for people to get to and yet tucked away meant we got the best of both worlds.
